Are these live bank exchange rates?
No. The tool uses dated reference exchange rates; your bank or card provider may apply different rates and fees.
Where can I see the rate date?
The conversion result shows the date supplied with the reference rate.
Does the amount I enter leave my browser?
The amount stays in your browser. The tool requests reference exchange rates from Frankfurter.
Check the rate before converting
If an illustrative reference rate were 0.90 EUR per USD, 100 USD would convert to approximately 90 EUR before exchange fees. This is not a current quote: the tool displays the actual rate date for the currencies you select.
